There are many boards in Pakistan but literacy rate of Pakistan is very low that is only 45 percent. When Pakistan was formed there were no resources at that time for education and people were also not interested in making their children get education. They only wanted their children to work and earn money. Then trend is changing and in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa after the formation of Pakistan education was under the University of Peshawar that got over loaded soon and then board was formed. It was formed in 1990. This board was named as board of intermediate and secondary education Abbottabad board and formed under NWFP BISE ACT 1990.

This board is not limited to certain areas but there are many regions those come under the board its jurisdiction consist of following areas Haripur, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Battagram and Kohistan comes under its jurisdiction covering an area of 17,194 square kilometers and having vast population of 3.47 million. This board has main objective that is to conduct examination for 5 th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th class after that students can get admission in professional education to start their high standard life. This board also conducts examination for 5th and 8th class although these examinations are not compulsory but students appear in them for practice so that they can get good marks in annual examination by the board.

This board is having many government and private colleges and schools those are affiliated with the board. Board conducts examination for matric that is class 9th and 10th in the month of March and April after that students wait for results that is declared in the month of June and July. This result is displayed on the official website of the board and also we will display that on our website after it is announced. Before examination students need to get themselves register with the board.
This registration is done in the month of January and after that students are provided with roll number slips and date sheets so that they can appear in examination. Students who wish to get good results they must work so hard that. They must also solve past papers and model papers to get practice and to get knowledge about the paper pattern.
