BISE is a system board of secondary education operated across Pakistan through which students get their secondary education. BISE Abbottabad board was formed after the partition of Peshawar board in 1990 which was the only board since then functioning in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but then it broke in three parts. Initially board was not having much students but with time they begin to increase. Now there are bundle of students studying under BISE Abbottabad board that one functioning body controlling matric examinations was to be divided in two parts. Conduct sections are supposed for following functions. Conduct I will hold examinations and study for Matric and Conduct II will hold for Intermediate.
Although it is separated from Peshawar board but still rules and regulations followed are from previous program. Its calendar and schedule is based upon NWFP BISE ACT 1990. It provides with complete instructions and points to run the board accordingly. Within all limits and parametes set by board schedules are being operated by administration neglecting any favoritism. Inspite of board being controlling administration board has rights and power to regulate and control any plan or activity. Policy of the board is that all students from 9th and 11th grade are supposed to be registered with board to appear in examination of Matric and Intermediate Part I and II. Private students are also registered with Government students and their requirements are also fulfilled accordingly.

BISE Abbottabad board works in following districts with many students appearing every year and completing their education. Haripur, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Battagram and Kohistan comes under its jurisdiction covering an area of 17,194 square kilometres and having vast population of 3.47 millions. There are many institutions affiliated with board highlighting it: Government schools including higher secondary schools and colleges in every tehsil for both male and females, private schools for male and female in every tehsil and private colleges for male and female in every tehsil.
Objective of the board is to hold examinations at Matric and Intermediate level in vast number of subjects some classical and other Pakistani languages as per planned by government. Conditions are set for admission of student in affiliated colleges and schools for which tests are conducted. After annual examinations awards and scholarships are awarded to high achievers appreciating them. Students are also awarded with diploma and certificates. To enable these all objectives to be operated out efficiently and perfectly they are controlled by independent administration and autonomous bodies as per under controlling authority of province. Professionally it provides students with highest education system.
